                                      Billboards

If your looking for a way to advertise that is sure to reach thousands of people, a billboard might be what you are looking for.  Billboards are great for companies who are really trying to get their name out there, however they can be a little pricey.
You can find everything you need to know about billboards from price, size, location and how many people will be viewing your ad at Lamar Advertising.
                                      http://www.lamaroutdoor.com

Just to show you how easy it is, I went to the website and put in some information to see how much a billboard would cost in the Williamsport, PA area if I wanted at least 50% of the population to see them.

They gave me two different types of Billboards.  Permanent billboards, which stay in the same location for the amount of time you are paying for it to be up, and Rotary billboards, which changes location every 60-90 days.  These are the statistics I got from each of these:

                                      Permanent Billboards
                                      Size: 14' x 48'
                                      # of Panels: 7
                                      Population seeing the billboard: 613,576
                                      Price(for 4 weeks): 18,900
                                      CPM: $2.19
                                      Rotary Billboards
                                      Size: 14' x 48'
                                      # of Panels: 2
                                      Population seeing the billboard: 92,300
                                      Price(for 4 weeks): 6,740
                                      CPM: $4.01
                                      Picture

The Lamar website also offers tips on how to design the best ad for your company, such as which colors to choose and why.  You can even upload your advertisement  to their website and test it out on their interactive viewer to see how it would look before you actually purchase the  billboard.

                                      Cable TV

Comcast Spotlight is designed for regional, national, and local businesses.  Their website has a map so you can choose the target markets that are important to you.  They have options on how to advertise, including: Single Market Advertising and Multi-Market Advertising.  Comcast also shows some competitive media facts to help you make your decisions on which modes of advertisement to use.  Their site also covers a list of frequently asked questions with answers such as, "How do I calculate my GPM?" and "What factors should I consider when placing an ad?"  You can submit all of your information to Comcast Spotlight, which also allows to specify the type of business so they can contact you and help you make a decision on which advertising options are right for you.

                                      How to Calculate your CPM:

                                      CPM= Cost of Schedule X 1,000/Gross Impression

Gross Impression = reach x frequency

                                      Example:
                                      $6.67 = 2,000 x 1,000 / 300000 GIMPS

                                      WESB

WESB incorporated owns two different radio stations,WESB 1490 is the networks news station, WBRR 101.1 The Hero is their music station. WESB covers  local news from the Bradford area, and other world news.   The Hero plays mainly classic rock. The radio station has many different broadcasts everyday to keep people tuned in like their all request workday witch lets the listeners pick what songs they would like to hear before or after work  every weekday from 10am-Noon and from 1pm-5pm. WESB also keeps listeners informed about closings in the area that might effect them, witch in turn gets a lot of morning viewers before school/work.

                                      Advertising Rates (as of today)
Single Commercial= 15.50 for 1 air of 30 seconds, 17.50 for 1 air of 60 seconds (Although WESB normally dosen't offer single commercials.WESB usually offers a better deal for more commercials bought, for example for twelve 60 second commercials its $162, for twelve 30 second commercials its $132. These are the same prices for The Hero, and WESB.  Another deal WESB offers is that they will give you a deal when you advertise on both of their stations, for example is only $276 for twelve 60 second ads on each station. WESB also lets you pick a time period that you want your commercial to air, for example morning drive time witch is from 6am-8am, but say you would like to air your commercial at exactly 8, then you will have to pay the fixed time charge of 20%. WESB lets one decide whether to have the station produce the commercial for no charge or if you would like you can produce your own commercial in their studio, also no extra charge.

The CPM of a WESB ad is hard to find because the station has no idea the amount of people tuned in to the station. For more advertising information contact the station at 814-368-4141 or stop  by 1490 St. Francis Dr. Bradford Pa

We have package options for advertising on our station.  You can get a :60 for about $2.50 within a monthly package or $15 for just an individual spot.  As far as production, if you have a produced ad, it just needs to be approved for on air and it has to be exactly 60 or 30 seconds.  If you need your ad produced, there is a production fee of $50.  That fee can be waived if you decide on a monthly package.  Monthly package rates are $150  for 2 spots a day.  So you get 60-62 spots for $150 and you can place those in whatever time slot you wish.  If you would like to go up to $200 a month, you can double your spots and get 4 per day and again, place those wherever you would like time wise.
